Primary Purpose:

• Role is to assist the operation team members with efforts in business monitoring and development within the USA insurance market.
• Role requires developing and communicating internal controls, program analytics, financial reports, meeting presentations and performance updates.

Major Projects:

• Provide ad-hoc analysis on various topics
• Review and document insurance products and programs for compliance analysis
• Provide corporate audit support as needed
• Research market competition for possible new products
• Support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives
• Support on development of presentation for various leadership meetings

List of activities:

• Orientation of products and program specifics through 1:1 training with Manager and Specialist
• Job shadowing other insurance business area analysts
• Arrange 1:1s with other areas of the company that are of interest to the intern

Qualifications:

Please note this is a seasonal internship that will work up to 90 calendar days in our Farmington Hills, MI office. Intern program runs from May to August 2019. Start date and end date are flexible based on candidates availability.
